Rice Cooker Seasoned Rice Recipe

I love a good "set it and forget it" recipe. This seasoned rice recipe is just that. I modified this recipe to work in a rice cooker and the seasonings slightly. I love our rice cooker! After getting all of the ingredients gathered and put into the machine, in just 40 minutes or so, the rice comes out perfectly for a side dish that goes with so many different proteins. I especially love it with grilled chicken!

Ingredients (Serves 6-8)
3 cups white rice
Water to 3 cups line in rice cooker
3 tablespoons butter (cut into 3 pieces)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1 1/2 teaspoons granulated chicken bouillon
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions
Rinse rice until water runs clear.
Mix together all of the spices.
Pour the water over the rice and stir together the butter and spices in the rice cooker. No need to melt the butter, it will disperse during cooking.
Cook rice on the White Rice setting of your rice cooker.
When the rice cycle is complete, fluff the rice and enjoy!
